The client wanted a space that felt both premium and practical. We opted for dark graphite shaker-style units to provide a sophisticated foundation. To contrast the dark cabinetry, we installed beautiful Calacatta marble quartz worktops, which carry through to a central island. The island features a curved waterfall edge, adding a soft, contemporary silhouette to the room's architecture.
The Hidden Larder
One of the true highlights of this Widnes joinery project is the bespoke hidden corner larder. Seamlessly integrated behind matching dark shaker cabinet doors, the larder reveals a full-height internal shelving system with beautiful oak interiors. It’s equipped with its own internal worktop and integrated sockets, allowing the client to keep appliances like coffee machines and toasters neatly tucked away but ready for use.
Premium Finish & Materials
Every detail was considered, from the herringbone oak LVT flooring that adds warmth and texture to the space, to the custom lighting. We installed Edison bulb pendant lighting suspended from a reclaimed wood bar over the island, creating a rustic yet industrial focal point. The kitchen is fully equipped with high-end integrated appliances, including a double oven and a dedicated wine cooler, making it the perfect space for entertaining.
